Free vs. Premium

Every venue is on one of two subscription tiers: free or premium. Almost everything in Frogge works the same on both. This page covers the two places that actually check your tier.

What's the same on both tiers

Every module's day-to-day admin actions work fully from /admin menu in Discord regardless of tier: VIP, Events, Finance, Embeds, Forms, Giveaways, Raffles, Reaction Roles, Auto-Reactor, Positions, Staffing, Profiles, Verification, Stream Alerts, Server Log, Time Clock, Glyph Builder, Leveling, Sticky Messages, Tournaments, Cards, and Settings. Discord is the one surface that never stops working, tier aside; a few of these modules do have a tier-based count ceiling (see below), but hitting it just means deleting an old one to make room for a new one, never losing access to the module itself.

What's gated

  • Dashboard write actions: on the free tier, the Dashboard is read-only. You can browse everything, but saving a change there (editing a VIP tier, posting an event, crediting raffle tickets, and so on) redirects back with a note that it's a premium feature, with a nudge to use /admin menu in Discord instead, which always works.
  • Admin Access: on the free tier, the venue's Admin Access list is capped at 1 combined role/user. The server owner and anyone with Discord's own Manage Server permission always keep access regardless of tier; the cap only limits how many extra people you can grant access to without using Manage Server.
  • Per-module count caps: seven modules cap how many top-level items a venue can have, higher on premium, enforced the same way on both surfaces:

    Module Free Premium
    VIP Tiers 2 100
    Positions 5 100
    Tournaments 2 500
    Reaction Role Panels 3 25
    Auto-Reactor Rules 2 10
    Sticky Messages 1 10
    Autoroles 1 10

Nothing else has a count cap: these seven are the only ones. Everything else described in Features is fully unlimited on both tiers (a handful of fields have a generous, same-on-both-tiers sanity ceiling, like Forms' 500-form/100-question cap, but those aren't a premium/free distinction, just a backstop).
