Permissions

Who can use /admin menu

Three ways to qualify, checked in this order:

  1. You're the server owner.
  2. You have Discord's Manage Server permission.
  3. You've been explicitly granted access — either your role or you personally are on the venue's Admin Access list.

Admin Access is managed from /admin menu → Settings → General → Admin Access: add or remove individual roles and individual members, independently of Discord's own permission system. This is how you'd give someone (or a whole staff role) access to venue management without handing them Manage Server.

/admin menu itself shows up for every member in Discord's command list — it isn't hidden from people without access. Running it without qualifying just returns a message saying you don't have permission, rather than the command being invisible.

The Dashboard checks something different

The Dashboard's access check is Discord's Manage Server permission (or server owner) only — it doesn't know about the Admin Access list at all. So someone granted admin access through a role or an individual Admin Access entry (but who doesn't have Manage Server) can use everything under /admin menu in Discord, but won't be able to sign into the Dashboard for that venue. If you're relying on Admin Access to grant venue management to someone, keep in mind it currently only covers the Discord side.

Member (public) commands

/vip-status, /profile, and /plugin-link need no special permission — every server member can use them.
