The Plugin

Frogge is an in-game companion for FFXIV, built on Dalamud, that lets venue members check their VIP status, browse events, giveaways, and raffles, and view their own character profiles - all without leaving the game. Venue managers get an in-game surface too, starting with reviewing pending profile submissions.

Installation

Frogge isn't in Dalamud's official plugin list yet, but it's installable from its own custom repository:

  1. In-game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings) → Experimental tab → Custom Plugin Repositories.

  2. Paste this URL exactly, click the + to add it, then Save. It must be this raw. githubusercontent.com link, not a github.com/.../blob/... link to the file's normal webpage view - that serves an HTML page Dalamud can't parse as a plugin listing:

  3. Open the Plugin Installer (/xlplugins), search for Frogge, and install it.

If the API server URL ever needs to change (e.g. you're testing against a different environment), open the plugin and go to Settings - reachable from the home screen or the unlinked screen - to view, edit, and test-connect a new URL without needing a plugin update.

Linking your account

The plugin isn't tied to your FFXIV character. It's tied to your Discord account, the same one your venue knows you by. Link them once:

  1. In Discord, run /plugin-link. You'll get a short-lived code.
  2. In-game, open the plugin with /frogge and enter that code.

Once linked, the plugin remembers you (and works across every venue you're in) until you use the Forget button to unlink.

What's inside

  • VIP Status: every venue where you hold VIP, its tier and expiry, with History (full membership history) and Perks (redemption status) per venue.
  • Events: browse upcoming events and their shifts, with the same Join / Leave / Locked self-signup buttons as Discord's shift browser. It's the same underlying signup, so changes made in-game show up in Discord and vice versa, and the same signup lockout applies.
  • Profiles: view your own characters and their approval status. This is read-only in the plugin; editing a character still happens via /profile in Discord.
  • Giveaways and Raffles: browse open and concluded ones across every venue you're in - entrant/ticket counts, whether you've won, and a link to jump straight to the post in Discord.
  • Manage (venue managers only): a per-venue manager menu, reachable if you're the server owner, hold Manage Server, or are on the venue's admin allowlist. Currently covers Profile Approvals - reviewing and approving/rejecting pending character submissions in-game.
