Installing the Bot

Who this is for

You'll need the Manage Server permission in your Discord server to invite Frogge. Once it's in, admin access is a bit more flexible than just Manage Server — see Permissions for the full picture, including how to grant specific roles or members admin access without giving them Manage Server. Regular members don't need to do anything here — they'll just use /vip-status, /profile, and event sign-up buttons once the venue admin has things set up.

Coming soon

Frogge isn't publicly installable yet — there's no invite link to share. This page will be filled in with the real invite link and required permissions once it is.

First-time setup

Frogge doesn't have a separate "setup wizard" — your server registers itself automatically the first time you change a setting. The simplest first step is to set your venue's timezone, which both creates the registration and configures something every other module (event times, VIP expirations) depends on:

/admin menuSettingsGeneralEdit next to Timezone, then enter an IANA timezone name (e.g. America/New_York).

General Settings also covers your Log Channel (where the bot posts admin activity like new profile submissions) and Accent Color, plus Admin Access — see Permissions.

Opening the admin dashboard

Everything else is managed from one command:

/admin menu

/admin menu opens a menu with a button per module — VIP, Events, Giveaways, Raffles, Positions, Staffing, Profiles, Verification, and Settings. Each leads to that module's own menu — see Features for what's inside each one. This command is visible to every member, but only admins (see Permissions) can actually use it.
