Staffing¶
Staffing is your staff roster: who's hired, their full employment history (not just current status), and which Positions they're qualified for. It's entirely Discord-only — there's no Dashboard equivalent yet. Staffing is deliberately decoupled from Profiles — a staff member doesn't need an RP character sheet, and any member can have a profile without being staff.
Quick Start¶
- Run /admin menu → → → , then pick the member to hire.
- From their detail screen, to say which Positions they're qualified for.
- (Optional) Set a Staff Role under Settings so hiring/terminating grants and revokes a Discord role automatically.

Full reference¶
Roster¶
lists every staff member (active or terminated) with / / . Add hires a member — or rehires them, if they were previously terminated; a terminated staff record is never deleted, so their old employment history stays intact. Remove terminates a staff member (with confirmation) rather than deleting them outright — same reasoning.
A staff member's detail screen shows their Status, an optional Name and Birthday
(MM-DD, no year), staff-only Notes, their Qualifications, their Employment History,
and a button (disabled if already terminated).
Employment history¶
Every hire/rehire creates a new employment period with a start date; terminating sets its end date. Employment History on a member's detail screen lists every period (not just the current one) with / / — a period's own detail screen lets you adjust its Started/Ended dates, a free-text Reason (e.g. "Resigned", "Seasonal end"), or Reopen it by clearing the end date.
Qualifications¶
A plain held/not-held list, not a leveled system — / let you pick one or more Positions at once. If a qualified Position has a Discord role attached, being added or removed grants or revokes that role live.
Settings¶
(from the Staffing menu) has one option: Staff Role — a Discord role granted on hire and revoked on termination, independent of any per-Position qualification roles.
A related toggle lives under Events instead of here: Require Staffing Qualification, off by default, optionally gates Events self-signup so a shift's Position needs at least one qualified staff member before anyone can sign up for it.
Checking your own status¶
Any staff member can run /staffing-status to see My Status (active/terminated, name,
birthday, qualifications) and My History (every past employment period).
